On 15 September, Mr Thierry Braillard, the Secretary of State for Sport, commissioned Jean-Pierre Karaquillo, the co-founder of CDES and Professor in the Law Faculty of the University of Limoges, to lead a mission into dealing with the career changes, social security cover and professional training of top athletes and professionals.

After five months consideration, Jean-Pierre Karaquillo today delivered his report to Thierry Braillard. 

This report is the conclusion of an extensive period of consultation with those involved in sport, during which Jean-Pierre Karaquillo met many personalities (athletes, social partners in sport, representatives from federations and professional clubs, specialists in sports law, in labour law and people qualified in the field of training, etc.).
